gOxford Chemistry tops the Guardian's University guide 2014

The University of Oxford's Department of Chemistry tops the subject ranking for Chemistry in the Guardian's University Guide 2014.

Research: Oxford is one of the leading chemistry research departments in the world with around 80 academic staff carrying out international-level research, and an annual research income of around £15 million. The latest (2008) Research Assessment Exercise confirmed that Oxford Chemistry has the highest “power rating” (breadth and depth of science) in the UK.

Early Career Fellowships: The Department seeks to encourage fellowship applications from outstanding individuals who are at a career stage where any of these fellowships would offer the opportunity to develop their independent research identity and become a chemistry research leader of the future.
