  1. This page provides access to full text electronic journals of interest to members of the Chemistry Department. Please send comments/additions/corrections to: cheminfo@chem.ox.ac.uk
  2. See also Oxford University e-Journals - an A-Z list of e-journals in all subjects accessible within Oxford University. Provides links to electronic journals, plus links to OLIS, Oxford's library catalogue, so you can see whether the printed journal is held, and if so the RSL shelf mark.
  3. Alerting services email you the Table of Contents of chosen journals, or a list of papers by specific authors or with specified words in title whenever a new issue is available.
  4. PDF files: full text journal articles are usually provided in PDF format. To read these download and install a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer.
  5. If a link no longer works let me know - meanwhile try finding the journal via Oxford University e-Journals or the publisher's web page
  6. Volumes and years given in red show availability of full text; many sites include tables of contents and often abstracts for previous years.
  7. See also: Additional electronic journals - we do NOT have access to the full text of articles in these journals, but bibliographic details can be checked, abstracts and supplementary material are available in many cases, and most publishers allow searching and display of contents pages.

  10. For electronic journals not currently available, you can make a purchase proposal.
  11. DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers):
    • These are permanent identifiers for individual publications, and provide a quick easy way to find and refer to an electronic article
    • If you have the DOI (they always begin with '10.'), just paste it into the box at: http://www.doi.org to go straight to the article
    • To find the DOI for an article, use the DOI Tool from CrossRef
    • Use DOIs on web pages to link to publications
