Several different types of types of search can be carried out. Topic searches (using words to describe the required subject) are the most common, followed by author and exact structure searches.

Number of simultaneous users allowed increased from 3 to 5 in October 2000
Options to Search for Company/Organisation and Browse Table of Contents were added in October 2000
