RSC Prize for Oxford Biotrans

Oxford Biotrans, a spinout company based on the research of Professor Luet Wong, has been named a winner in the Royal Society of Chemistry's Emerging Technology Competition. The company uses patented enzyme technology to develop high-value chemicals and has developed a product called nootkatone, which produces the taste and smell of grapefruit. Winners receive a cash prize of £10,000 and tailored support from RSC competition partners. more........
