This document describes the Structured cabling installation in the buildings of the Chemistry Department at the University of Oxford.

There are five main buildings used by the Chemistry Department, these are interconnected by the University "Campus Backbone", a high speed fibre optic network which at present offers ethernet at 100Mb/sec to University buildings with a fibre pair.

The Chemistry buildings are connected to two of the University Telecomms Rooms, one at the Museum Lodge (used by Chemical Crystalography and Inorganic Chemistry) and another at Plant Sciences (used by Central Chemistry, Dyson Perrins and Physical & Theoretical Chemistry).
