This is a javascript controlled quiz.

The program code which changes the questions and keeps the score is hidden in an invisible frame.

This enables a record to be kept whilst appearing to change the whole web page.

The same effect could be achieved by using cookies, cgi's or databases, though the latter two require the pages to be connected to a remote server, rather than stand-alone client-side web pages (i.e. from a CD-ROM).

The quiz is about the chemistry Elements, and is based on images from the RSC Visual Elements online periodic table (www.chemsoc.org).
