Postdoctoral Research Associate in Organic Chemistry  (Professor Darren Dixon)
Grade 7: 31,076 - 32,958 per annum

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Organic Chemistry to work under the supervision of Professor Darren J Dixon on a research project funded by the Leverhulme Trust for a fixed-term period of 3 years.

The project involves the development of new broadly applicable photocatalytic methodologies for the synthesis of amines and nitrogen containing heterocycles. Find out more about the Dixon research group at: http://dixon.chem.ox.ac.uk//.

You should have a PhD in organic chemistry, or have submitted your thesis prior to taking up your appointment. Additional details of the post and its requirements are listed in the Further Particulars.

Duties will include managing own academic research and administrative activities, working in an organised and motivated manner and co-ordinating aspects of the project to meet deadlines.

The post will be based in the Chemistry Research Laboratory, Mansfield Road, Oxford, OX1 3TA and is available from 1 July 2017.
