Part-time Receptionist (9.75 hours pw)  (Mrs Joy Cooke)
Grade 3: 18,412 - 21,220 (pro-rata for part-time hours)

The Department of Chemistry are looking for a Part-Time Receptionist to join our Facilities Team.

Your role will be to carry out the full range of receptionist duties, as well as supporting the Facilities Team in their day to day running of the Chemistry buildings and offering support to the Administration Team and stores.

Working independently you will be the initial point of contact for all visitors to the department, and have previous Receptionist experience or front of house experience. You must enjoy meeting people, be well organised and have good levels of IT literacy.

You will also provide administrative support for departmental/academic staff; including filing, photocopying, preparing and distributing papers, preparing expense claims and making travel arrangements.

This post will be based in the Department of Chemistry in the Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory but you may also be required to work in the Chemistry Research Laboratory and THE Physical and Theoretical Chemistry Laboratory when required.

The working hours for this posts are: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2pm 5.15pm (9.75 hours)
