Postdoctoral Research Associate - Polyyne Rotaxanes and Conjugated Macrocycles  (Professor Harry Anderson)
Grade 7.1 7.3: 31,076 - 32,958 p.a

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work under the supervision of Professor Harry L Anderson on a research project funded for a fixed-term period of 12 months. The project involves multistep organic synthesis and supramolecular chemistry. Find out more about the research group at: http://hla.chem.ox.ac.uk/.

You should have a PhD in chemistry, or have submitted your thesis prior to taking up your appointment. Expertise in the organic synthesis is essential.

Duties will include managing own academic research and administrative activities. This involves small-scale project management, to co-ordinate multiple aspects of research. You will also adapt existing and develop new scientific techniques and experimental protocols.

The post will be based in the Chemistry Research Laboratory, Mansfield Road, Oxford, OX1 3TA and is available from 1 July 2017.
