The Department of Chemistry is recruiting for an Undergraduate Studies Administrator who will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the Undergraduate Programme, including admissions and timetabling, the allocation of Part II students to supervisors and the examing process, with the support of the Director of Studies.

You will be responsible for making a critical annual review of departmental procedures in consultation with the Director of Studies, Teaching committee and other critical parties. This will involve contributing to the annual admissions sent to the University, revising the Examination Regulations and Conventions and supervising the Part ll project allocation process.

You will be responsible for supervising the work of the Undergraduate Studies Administration Assistant and ensuring all deadlines are met at all times.

You will have excellent organisational skills, including the ability to balance demands from different areas, prioritise work and manage your time effectively.

You will have good IT skills including MS Office, the internet, and email with the ability to manipulate spreadsheets, databases and update web pages.

The post will be based in the Department of Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory, South Parks Road, Oxford.
