Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Polymerization Catalysis to work under the supervision of Professor Charlotte Williams, on a research project funded by the EPSRC for a period of 18 months, working on development of homogeneous polymerization catalysts allowing production of polymers from renewable resources.

You should have been awarded a PhD in Chemistry, or a related area, or have submitted a PhD thesis prior to taking up your appointment.
The research requires a strong background in catalysis and polymer chemistry. The research is also part of a larger collaboration with other universities and industry, as such strong communication, team-work and organization skills will be essential.
You will also be expected to manage your own academic research and administrative activities, and to coordinate work to meet specified deadlines.
The post will be based in the Chemistry Research Laboratory, Department of Chemistry,
12 Mansfield Road, Oxford, OX1 3TA.
