Postdoctoral Research Associate in Electrochemistry/Diagnostics  (Professor Jason Davis )
Grade 7: 31,076 -38,183 per annum

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Electrochemistry/Diagnostics to work under the supervision of Professor Jason Davis on a research project funded by Osler for a period of 12 months. The project involves the design, characterisation and utilisation of non-fouling receptive interfaces conducive to diagnostic assays.

You should have a PhD in Chemistry or a relevant subject area, or have submitted your thesis prior to taking up your appointment. You should be familiar with surface chemical and advanced spectroscopic methods. Experience in SPR and/or electroanalysis would be beneficial. You will be expected to manage your own academic research and administrative activities, to supervise other team activities where asked and to coordinate work to meet specified deadlines.

The post will be based in the Physical & Theoretical Chemistry, South Parks Road OX1 3QZ and is available immediately.
