The Virtual Tour of Oxford website was designed by Karl Harrison with the help of final year chemistry students. They work in the chemistry I.T. Suite in the Department of chemistry.

The panoramic photographs were produced by Karl Harrison, and by Oxford University funded summer students' Marcin, Rachel, Tom, Clara and Simon (2003), Iain Turbitt and Michael Church (2002), David Battley and Paul Taylor (2001), Tom Bradshaw, Richard Delahaye and Iain Gray (2000).

The site is funded by the Department of Chemistry. The summer student time was funded by the University of Oxford's "Access Initiative" from 2000-2003.
