Jon and Ian are Chemistry
students at Oxford University. In their fourth year (known
as the Part II) they are required to work with one of the
department's research groups and produce a small thesis. This, taken together
with the finals examinations they took at the
end of the third year, is used to determine the final classification of
their degree. Karl Harrison runs the Chemistry
IT Centre and is their superviser.
The VR Group is now situated in the basement
of New Chemistry Laboratory.
