How to view Quicktime VR movies

Once you have the right plug-ins for your web browser, clicking on one of the links on the left or on the map (on the previous page) should begin to download a movie to your computer.

Once an image appears you can navigate using the mouse. The mouse pointer changes shape to tell you over what kind of object it is resting:

This is the default mouse pointer. When you hold down a mouse button and drag the mouse you will be able to alter the direction in which you are looking.
This is the panning mouse pointer. This mouse pointer appears when you hold down a mouse button and drag, altering the direction in which you look.
This is the object hot spot mouse pointer. Clicking here will either 'pick up' the object underneath the pointer or trigger some other action ie. a quicktime movie or a jump to a different web page.
This the link hot spot mouse pointer. Clicking with the mouse will jump to a new node.

By holding down the mouse button with your pointer over the image, you can look up, down, left and right by moving the mouse in the appropriate direction.

In addition, you can zoom in and out of the scene. PC users can use Shift and Ctrl to zoom in and out respectively. Macintosh users can use Alt and Ctrl to zoom in and out. Other platforms will probably have similar controls.
