Water

Do not drink the tap water. The coffee machine provides iced water.

Ensure that all water taps are turned off when not in use, particularly overnight, to prevent flooding. Where apparatus is connected for long periods to a water point, the connection should be secured with hose clips and the tubing regularly examined to ensure that it is in good condition. Each water pump consumes water at the rate of ten litres per minute (which proves expensive) and it is essential, therefore, that they should be used only for the minimum time necessary.
