Professor John Goodenough is an Honorary Fellow of St Catherine’s College and was Professor of Inorganic Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry from 1976 to 1986. In 2019 Professor Goodenough was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his work on lithium-ion batteries, along with M.
