Description: The Wates MALDI micro is a small MALDI TOF system whihc runs both Linear (400-1000Da) and Reflectron mode (above 10,00 Da). Its used most extensively for peptide and small protein analysis although it can be useful for analysis of non-biological compounds over around 400 Da and synthetic polymers. Resolution is limited and can become limiting in the identification of larger proteins
