Véronique Gouverneur receives Prous Institute Overton and Meyer Award

The 2024 Prous Institute - Overton and Meyer Award for New Technologies in Drug Discovery has been awarded to Prof Véronique Gouverneur.

The award was established to encourage innovation and investigation in technologies related to drug discovery. The Award is given biennially to acknowledge the discovery, evaluation or use of a new technology, and consists of a diploma, €7500 and an invitation to present a lecture at an EFMC-ISMC symposium.

Prof Gouverneur's research aims at developing new approaches to address long-standing problems in the synthesis of fluorinated molecules including pharmaceutical drugs and probes for imaging.
