Marie Curious

Marie Curious is a free one-day science event for girls and non-binary children aged 12-14, organised by the Department of Physics. The event aims to build confidence in under-represented genders with an interest in science and fuel a passion for continuing to pursue STEM subjects at a higher level.

As part of the programme, the Department of Chemistry will be running a Chemical Clocks workshop. The workshops are run by passionate role-models from Chemistry. The workshops are followed by a lively Q&A session with leading scientists from all stages in their careers, ready to answer questions. The day concludes with an interactive science show.

This is fully booked for this year. Please visit here for further information.
