Professor Richard Compton elected to the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences

Professor Richard Compton has been elected as a Foreign Member of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences.   The election took place at the General Assembly of the Academy held on June 22nd and Professor Compton was congratulated on his election by Professor Jūras Banys, President of the Academy.   Professor Compton will give a lecture at his inauguration which will take place at the Academy’s next General Assembly on September 21st.
