Chemistry DPhil students selected to participate in the 71st Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting

DPhil students Katharina Eisenhardt and Michael Howlett have been selected as two of 611 young scientists to participate in the 71st Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting.

Katharina was nominated by the German Academic Scholarship Foundation in 2020 and will be attending the meeting this year for the first on-site meeting since 2019. A member of the OxICFM CDT 2021 cohort, she will start working on her research project ‘Heterobimetallic catalysts for carbon dioxide and propene oxide copolymerization: exploiting and understanding synergy’ in the Williams group in April.

Michael, a final year DPhil student, was nominated by The Royal Society to attend the meeting in 2022. A member of the SBM CDT, he currently works within the Fletcher group studying dynamic functional systems and synthetic models of life.
