Series 2 of student podcast Periodically released

PERIODically – the podcast that covers all things periods and chemistry – is back for Series 2.

Last season the podcast, created by undergraduate and postgraduate chemists at the University of Oxford, covered how menstruation can impact our lives in academia. In the new series, the team are taking an even deeper dive into menstrual and reproductive health, covering topics including endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, infertility, miscarriage and the menopause.

They are joined by eight amazing guests, all at different points in their career, who are sharing their personal stories relating to all of these topics. In each episode they give fantastic advice on how to make academia a more comfortable place for everyone.

Check out the first episode, available today on your favourite podcast streaming service. More information is available on the team’s website and social media: all links here.
