PGCE Visit

This annual visit for PGCE Science Teachers is a collaboration with the Department of Education at the University of Oxford. In addition to a tour of the Chemistry Teaching Laboratory, students take part in two workshops, usually one which is already being delivered as part of our suite of activities, and one in development. We greatly value the feedback these trainee teachers provide, whilst participants invariably comment on the experiences enriching their own teaching practice. 

This mutually beneficial activity continues to help the Department of Chemistry improve and adapt their workshops to ensure they are as efficient and as exciting as possible for students aspiring to learn more about Chemistry.
